• The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Reese O’Brian of Hilltop Drive in Maraval.
• Around 3:30pm, residents of the area heard a series of loud explosions and went to investigate.
• Upon their investigation, they discovered O’Brian lying on the ground in a pool of blood, and the suspect who is allegedly a resident of Hilltop, fleeing the scene with a firearm in his hand.
• The police and emergency health services were notified and the responding officers arrived at the scene and conveyed O’Brian to the Port of Spain General Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
