A man was severely beaten during an alleged attempted kidnapping in Pinto Road, Arima on Monday 25th September, 2023.
• Officers responded to a report of a shooting at Ifill Lane in Pinto Road, Arima.
• When they arrived at the scene, they discovered the 32-year-old victim only identified as Lee, lying on the ground with his feet bound with a piece of rope.
• Lee was taken to the Arima district hospital where he was treated for lacerations on the face and body and listed in a serious condition.
• The responding officers also seized a Nissan Tiida motor car registered PDL 7404, that was parked near the victim with the ignition on, the trunk open and blood on the back of the trunk.
