CCTV footage captured the moment 45-year-old Kester Reid was shot and killed in St Augustine on Tuesday 21st November, 2023.
• Around 2:35pm, Reid of Five Rivers, Arouca, was reportedly at the terminal service centre on Evans Street, when a man dressed in PRD Security Services T-shirt, armed with a gun approached and shot him several times.
• The gunman then stood over Reid’s body, and shot him again, before fleeing the scene.
• Passers-by called the police and officers from the north-central division task force and the St Joseph CID responded along with a district medical officer, who declared Reid dead.
