WASA HAS ANNOUNCED AN EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN AT THE POINT LISAS DESALINATION PLANT TOMORROW TUESDAY 24TH MAY, 2022, IN WHICH SEVERAL COMMUNITIES IN THE CENTRAL, SOUTH, AND SOUTH WESTERN DIVISIONS WILL BE AFFECTED.
According to WASA’S Statement, the shutdown will take effect from 9:30 am to facilitate emergency repairs at the Point Lisas Desalination plant for a period of 8 hours.
