Police found the bodies of two men stuffed inside garbage bags in a River at Gillies Road, Mon Plasir Road, Cunupia on Monday 17th October, 2022.
• The left leg of a human was first found under a piece of sponge in the river by our camera crew who responded to a report about a sighting of a body in the river along the northern side of the roadway.
• The foot was found protruding from under a sponge in the water and a report was made to the police and officers of the Cunupia Police Station, who had been searching the other side relative to the same sighting, who later arrived at the scene.
• A check was made by an officer and it was discovered that it was a left severed leg believed to be that of a male. At least three black garbage bags were found next to the leg. Investigations revealed there were two male bodies inside the bags.
