A man was gunned down in Arima earlier on Friday 02nd June, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 45-year-old Jason Lezama of Hoyte Avenue, Arima.
• Around 9:45am, Lezama was at John Street, Mt Zion Road, when he was ambushed and shot.
• Lezama was subsequently taken to the Arima District Health Facility where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
This is the second murder that took place in the Arima area for the week and the month of June thus far.
Just yesterday 15-year-old Zion Oculien aka Queener of Antigua Road, Wallerfield, Arima was shot and killed in the area on Thursday 1st June, 2023.
