‘What misunderstanding?’ Victim rejects claims after alleged phone robbery at Eddie Hart Savannah

A woman who reported being the victim of an alleged phone robbery at Eddie Hart Savannah has dismissed claims that the incident was a “misunderstanding,” following statements made by one of the men previously detained by police.

The woman said her mobile phone was snatched from a male companion while they were exercising at the Savannah. Based on information about the route the suspect fled, he was traced to an apartment, where two males were detained.

However, in a subsequent recording, the man—seen in earlier video footage being detained alongside another—claimed that after his release, the incident was a misunderstanding and that no robbery had occurred and the other person was expected to be released.

This angered the vicitm who gave details of what transpired that led to the police action and maintained that the robbery did take.— Story by I.A.N News
