Wanted Jerry, not the elusive ghost, was held by officers of the North Eastern Division along with another man on a gun possession charge.
North Eastern Division Task Force officers along with their Intelligence Unit counterparts carried out an anti-crime exercise at 6th Avenue in Malick in search of a man identified by his alias Jerry.
He was held without incident while another man was also detained when police found and seized a pistol and seven (7) live rounds of ammunition in his possession.
The exercise was carried out by Sgt. Beliliam, PC Dass, Moneesar, Villarreal, Shah and Marshall including other officers.
