Hours before he was expected to return to school after being suspended over a fight, 15-year-old Videsh Dookran, was shot and chopped to death inside a latrine behind the classic pluck shop along Cipero Road, Golconda on Saturday 8th October 2022.
• Dookran who was a form three student of the Ste. Madeleine secondary school and was in the company of two brothers, a 14-year-old and a 7-year-old on Saturday when the incident occurred.
• According to reports one of the brothers had a firearm which was used to shoot Dookran.
• Reports further stated that the boys later dumped his body in an abandoned blue house at the back of the pluck shop in Golconda.
• Police stated when they arrived at the location, they found Dookran body lying motionless on its left side in a foetal position in an abandoned wooden blue house.
• Dookran was suspended from the Ste. Madeleine Secondary School followed a fight and was looking forward to returning to school earlier today.
