Two men shot dead at Freedom Street Enterprise on Monday 17th October 2022, have been identified.
• The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Marius Guevara of Benjamin Street, Enterprise, and 29-year-old Tevin Neptune Joseph of Ramsaran Trace, Jerningham Junction, Cunupia.
• Around 5.06 p.m. PCs Ram, Sagram and Barclay were on mobile patrol in Enterprise when they received information of a shooting in progress at Freedom Street.
• When officers arrived, they saw a silver Nissan Cifero parked on the roadway with damage to both the front and rear windshields. One man was a seat in the back seat of the car while another was in a nearby drain.
• Mere moments before the double murder, the officers had patrolled the area. It is being rumoured that the killings may be linked to the murder of 9-year-old Jamal Modeste who was shot and killed late on Saturday when gunmen opened fire on a group of persons at the African Grounds in Enterprise.
