Two men were gunned down inside a vehicle outside a bar in St. Helena early on Sunday 30th October, 2022, which left a third victim wounded
• The deceased has been identified as 36-year-old Akile “Croc” Nesbitt and 27-year-old Ruben Sabarbruce both of Sub Station Road, Oropune Gardens, Piarco.
• The injured man has been identified as Rakesh Ramansarsingh also of Sub Station Road, Oropune, Piarco.
•Around 4:10am, officers of the Caroni Police Station were on mobile patrol along Caroni South Bank Road near High style Bar and Safe Landing Bar, when they heard several loud explosions.
• Officers then observed several persons running along the roadway and upon investigating, they found three persons nursing gunshot injuries inside a Toyota Corolla motor car Registration PDL 2770 in the car park of Safe Landing Bar.
• Nesbitt died in the vehicle while Ruben was declared dead around 4:26am at the Mt. Hope Hospital.
• Over 20 spent 9mm casings were recovered at the scene.
