Two men were gunned down inside a house at Wharton Street Extension in Laventille on Saturday 24th September, 2022, with police officers seizing an ar-15 rifle next to the dead men.
• The deceased has been identified as 41-year-old Kevill Hills aka Kevy of Celestine Street, Morvant and 41-year-old Anderson Simmons of #17 Wharton Street Extension, Laventille, the hose where the incident happened.
• According to a police report around 9:45pm on Saturday, both victims were in the gallery at Simmons’s home when two masked men approached them and opened fire before escaping on foot.
• ASP Ramesar, Insp. Boris, Acting Cpl. Williams and PC Doorlarsingh of the IATF, who were on patrol, responded to the shooting incident and discovered both victims dead inside the house. Cpl Williams also observed and seized an AR-15 rifle and ammunition next to the dead men.
• Investigations are continuing into the double killing.
