Two bandits were shot at by the holder of a firearm’s user license after he confronted them in his yard attempting to steal his Toyota Aqua motorcar late on Sunday 2nd October, 2022.
• According to a police report, around 11:45pm, the 59-year-old man was at his Maracas Royal Road home when he was awakened by the barking sounds of his dogs.
• Upon investigating, the victim saw two men, one seated inside his motor vehicle, while the other stood outside looking on.
• An alarm was raised and the victim. Police said, fired five (5) shots in the direction of the men who fled the scene on foot. The police were notified and a man. Believed to be one of the suspects, was taken into custody a short distance away.
