Two (2) families are now homeless after a fire destroyed their home in Valsayn on Saturday 25th march, 2023.
• Sometime between 5:30 and 6:00pm, The families which include five children were not at home when they received a phone call that their house in Jaffar Street, Bamboo Settlement No 2 was on fire.
• Residents of the area as well as the owner of a car-parts place next door used his garden hose as he attempted to extinguish the fire, however, it was too late.
• The two-story building was 80% destroyed by time the fire was outed.
