Two (2) brothers remain warded at the hospital after they were shot and wounded in Sangre Grande on Wednesday 26th July, 2023.
• The victims were identified as 20-year-old Sean Lamotte and his 17-year-old brother Isaac Lamotte both of Madoosingh Lane, Drive Bois, Bande Village, Ojoe Road, Sangre Grande.
• Around 1:30am the victim’s mother was asleep at their home when she was awakened by several loud explosions.
• Upon checking, she discovered two of her sons suffering from gunshot wounds about the body.
• The woman immediately ran to a neighbour’s house for assistance and contacted the Sangre Grande police.
• When the officers arrived at the scene, they observed two men lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds and conveyed them to the Sangre Grande hospital.
• Sean was treated for gunshot wounds to his both arms and a gunshot to his head while Isaac was treated for wounds to his right arm and the right side of his neck.
• Crime scene investigators also visited the scene and recovered six spent 9mm casings and one projectile.
