Three men were shot dead in an alleged police shootout at Enterprise Street, Enterprise on Thursday 8th September, 2022.
• The victims were identified as Quamie Wallace aka “Tusty” of enterprise, Ricky Taylor aka “Ross” of enterprise and Ronele Alexander aka “Capepe” of Sangre Grande and enterprise.
• Initial reports state that the three suspects were confronted by police officers and there was a chase and an alleged exchange of gunfire.
• The shootout took place around 11:00pm last night and the men were taken to the Chaguanas District Hospital where they were declared dead.
This is the second triple police killing for the year…
On Saturday 2nd July, 2022: Three friends were shot dead in Port of Spain by officers of the Western Division and the Guard and Emergency Branch.
• The victims are: 17-year-old Leonardo Williams of Hell Yard, Beetham Gardens; 17-year-old Isaiah Roberts; and his cousin-in-law 22-year-old Fabien Richards both of Sandy Trace, St. Barb’s Road, Laventille.
