Three (3) family members were gunned down execution-style by men pretending to be police in Penal early on Tuesday 25th April, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 43-year-old Anand Kumar, his 18-year-old son Kishore Kumar and Kishore’s uncle 26-year-old Rolly Hosein.
• At about 4:00am, The trio were asleep at their home in Mathura Avenue, Charlo Village Penal with other female relatives when they were awakened by a banging on their door, followed by men shouting “Police”.
• When they opened the door, the suspects who were dressed in police tactical wear entered the home and instructed the three victims to go downstairs.
• Moments later, multiple loud explosions were heard and the three victims were discovered shot to death by their female relatives.
• A report was subsequently made to the Penal Police Station and officers responded and are continuing investigations.
