One (1) man was shot dead while another was injured during a shooting near the Caroni Round About on Wednesday 26th April, 2023.
• The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Dylan Joseph of Old Train Line Road, St Augustine, while the injured man is yet to be identified.
• The victims were reportedly selling at their stalls when a black Hatchback Tiida Registered PDH 1297 approached.
• Two men armed with guns, alighted from the vehicle and opened fire on the duo, before re-entering their vehicle and fleeing the scene.
• Joseph died at the scene, while the injured victim was taken to the Mt Hope hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Joseph was previously shot 5 times during the double murder at Gregorie’s Lane, Freeman Road St Augustine which claimed the lives of 16-year-old Darshan Ramnath and Gino Shah on Tuesday 24th January, 2023.
Joseph’s cousin 27-year-old Aneesa Ramkissoon of Old Trainline Road, Warner Street, Freeman Road, St. Augustine was gunned down at her business place in St. Augustine on Friday 03rd March, 2023.
• Aneesa would have celebrated her 28th birthday today (Wednesday 26th April, 2023).
