Two men robbed two security guards of their firearms during two separate incidents in the Waterloo area on Wednesday 24th May, 2023.
The first incident:
Around 2:15pm, a 42-year-old Chinese businessman was conducting sales at Warmer Mart at Waterloo Road, Carapichaima, when two men entered.
• The suspects approached the 49-year-old security guard, pointed a gun at him and relieved him of his Sig Sauer 9mm pistol and 25 rounds of ammunition.
• They then stole the cash register that contained an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene.
