There was a fatal accident along the Sir Solomon Hochoy highway near the Papourie overpass in Debe earlier on Wednesday 8th March 2023.
• The victim was identified as 26-year-old, Nickel Zoey, a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force from building 9, apartment 2, Alexandria Lane, Corinth.
• Around 2:30 pm, Zoey was driving south along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway near the Papourie Overpass when he lost control and collided with a T&Tec light pole.
• 19-year-old Zaria Christine Khadoo, who was in the front seat at the time of the accident was injured and taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
