There is no word on the man who was swept away by raging flood waters inside the East Dry River in Port of Spain on Monday 29th August, 2022.
• Fitzgerald Thomas, a man who was landscaping on the lawn near the river at the corner of Queen and Piccadilly Streets East Dry River, Port of Spain, said he tried saving the man but to no avail.
• The police were contacted and officers of the Besson Street Police Station arrived but the victim could not be found. Members of the Coast Guard and the Fire services were also summoned and several searches mounted.
