THERE HAS BEEN PERSISTENT RAINFALL IN SEVERAL PARTS OF THE COUNTRY

MUCH EARLIER THAN PREDICTED BY THE MET OFFICE OF T&T FOR TODAY, THURSDAY 2ND JUNE, 2022, AS A TROPICAL WAVE IS EXPECTED TO HIT BOTH ISLANDS. THERE ARE REPORTS OF A FALLEN UTILITY POLE ALONG THE EAST LANE OF THE GRAN COUVA MAIN ROAD JUST OFF THE SIR SOLOMON HOCHOY HIGHWAY.

REMEMBER, STREET/FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED IN AREAS SO PRONE AND PERSONS ARE ASKED TO EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHILE ON THE WET ROADS.

Thursday – Tropical Wave 04Mostly cloudy to overcast. Periods of showers from the early morning with heavier showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly after dawn, favoring eastern and southern Trinidad initially, gradually spreading northwestward.
