The Trinbago Knightriders (TKR) have won their second game after losing three (3) matches in this year’s tournament of the Hero CPL.

• TKR played the Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain on Wednesday 14th September, posting 150/8 from their allotted 20 overs. Collin Munro top scored with 42 runs off 37 balls.

• In reply, the GAW were bowled out for 124 in 17.5 overs with TKR winning by 26 runs.

Sunil Narine captured player-of-the-match after he took 2 wickets for 9 runs off his 4 overs.

• The other standout bowling figures are Andre Russel with 3-16; Akiel Hosein 3-36; and Ravi Rampaul 1-21.

• TKR have two final home games at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy on Saturday at 7pm against the Jamaica Tallawahs and on Sunday at 7pm against St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

• TKR now sits in the 4th spot on the leaderboard with 5 points having played 6 games. They’ve won 2 matches, drew 1 (washed out game) and lost 3.
