IN RESPONSE TO A PROTEST BY WASA WORKERS OUTSIDE THE ST. JOSEPH HEAD OFFICE REGARDING THE POSSIBLE RETRENCHMENT OF CLOSE TO 600 WORKERS, MINISTER OF PUBLIC UTILITIES MARVIN GONZALES SAID HE WAS SURPRISED THE WORKERS WERE NOT INVOLVED IN CLEANING WATER TREATMENT PLANTS AFFECTED BY FLOODING.
