After multiple homicides and shootings within the Mon Repos and Romain Lands district, and days after a teenager was gunned down outside his home, the police service erected a mobile patrol police unit at the misery community center, located between Romain Lands and Mon Repos Road in Morvant just off the Lady Young Road.
