The owner of the cow has denied suggestions being made that he was responsible for the murders of Sean Dalipsingh and Sheldon Lewis.
• The man, who did not want to identify himself, spoke with our camera crew in the area earlier on Thursday 20th October, 2022, and admitted concerns Dalipsingh and Lewis had with regard to his cow eating their crops.
• He said he had a cordial relationship with both men and even suggested that he was willing to compensate them for their loss once they were able to provide evidence supporting the destruction of their crops by his cow.
• The man added that sometime recently, one of his cows was detained by the farmers who accused the animal of eating their crops and he was only alerted by such after hearing the cries of the animal.
This is the third double murder recorded in Trinidad for this week…
