The Ministry of Works and Transport on Wednesday 19th October, 2022, installed rumble strips leading to the end of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway

in Debe in order to curb accidents in the area.

• Works and transport Minister Rohan Sinanan was on location as the new and additional safety measures were installed.

• The area has been the scene of at least two fiery fatal accidents and multiple car crashes within the last two years.
