The Lloyd Brathwaite student administration building at the UWI St. Augustine campus was set ablaze on Thursday 24th November, 2022.
• Around 6:60pm, Raiad Ali, a clerical assistant at the school, was at the student administration building when he observed smoke.
• Upon making checks, he discovered the General Storage room engulfed in flames.
• Ali immediately contacted the Fire Services and police.
• Due to the fire, the building remained closed today and all services were available online to the students.
