The body of Lopinot gardener Theresa Lynch was found days after she was swept away by flood waters in surrey village, on Friday 07th October, 2022.
• Her body was found by members of the Hunters Search and Rescue Team around 2:00pm at the Arima Old Road.
On Wednesday 05th October 2022:
• It was reported that Lynch attempted to cross a bridge over a ravine at Mc David Trace, Lopinot, where there were raging flood waters.
• unconfirmed reports state that 44-year-old Lynch and her brother 45-year-old William were attempting to cross to escape flood waters when she reportedly slipped and fell into the water.
• William attempted to assist her but encountered difficulties and was slammed into several rocks where he was unable to save her.
