The body of a man was found Shot to death in Diego Martin early on Wednesday 12th July, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 21-year-old Michael Marlon Gerard.
• Around 6:10am, a man was walking out of his home in Savannah Terrace, Diego Martin, when he observed the body of a man lying at the side of the driveway.
• He immediately contacted the police and officers from the western division responded and found the deceased with gunshot wounds to his chest and left arm.
• They summoned the district medical officer who visited the scene, viewed the body and declared Gerard dead.
The last murder that took place in the Diego Martin area was on Saturday 17th June, 2023, when 29-year-old Elijah Williams of Sea Trace, Diego Martin, was gunned down at the corner of Andrew Trace and Blue Basin Road, Diego Martin on Saturday 17th June, 2023.
