• Moments after a streetside vendor was gunned down on Henry Street Port of Spain, police shot and wounded a suspect armed with a firearm who was fleeing the seen.
• Anton Smart of Upper Wharton Street in Laventille was gunned down by an unarmed suspect in broad daylight earlier this afternoon.
• The suspect was shot in the leg and taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital where he remains warded under police guard.
