Sangre Grande police are probing an incident in which the body of Kevon Lucas, aka Shrek of Boodoo Highway, Sangre Grande, was illegally exhumed from a cemetery in Sangre Grande overnight, and set ablaze.
In a short soundless video clip recorded by one of the suspects involved in the dastardly act, a message in Spanish was placed near the body before fuel was poured on it and set ablaze.
The message, translated, read,” Melandro Ismael strike.”Shrek was shot dead early on Sunday, 18th August 2024, while inside a vehicle at Boodoo Highway along with Sherayne Salanady, a nurse of La Horquetta.
Salandy also died in the hail of bullets.Shrek, in 2022, faked his death along with another man in Sangre Grande.
In January 2023, he survived an attack on his life after gunmen stormed his girlfriend’s house at Blake Avenue Ext. in Sangre Grande and opened fire on the occupants, killed 6-year-old Kylie Meloney.
It was rumored at the time that Shrek used Kylie as a human shield and, again, pretended he was dead.
