Shivon Edmond of Bamboo Trace remains in serious condition after he was shot about the body.

32-YEAR—OLD SHIVON EDMOND OF BAMBOO TRACE, TUNAPUNA REMAINS IN SERIOUS CONDITION AT HOSPITAL AFTER HE WAS SHOT ABOUT THE BODY WHILE INSIDE A CAR AT WATER LANE, TUNAPUNA LAST NIGHT.

• Another man, identified as Matthew Pierre, sustained injuries after the vehicle he and Edmond were occupants crashed after it was shot at by unknown persons.
• According to police around 11:30pm on Tuesday, officers of the Northern Division Task Force responded to a report about a shooting at Water Lane, St. Vincent Street, Tunapuna.
• Upon arrival the officers observed a blue coloured Chevy hatchback, registration PDT 4324, crashed into an empty lot of land along Walter Lane with bullet holes to the rear and left side of the said vehicle.
• Edmond and Pierre were discovered outside the vehicle. Pierre had injuries consistent with a vehicular crash while Edmond had gunshot injuries about the body. Police took both men to the Mt. Hope Hospital for treatment.
• Officers of the Northern Division Crime Scene Investigations Unit recovered fifty-two (52) spent 5.56 shell casings at the scene.
