Sherwin Julien, aka Billy, of Watts Street, Curepe, has been identified as the man who was gunned down inside Gateboys Bar at Watts Street, St. Augustine on Tuesday 2nd August 2022.
• Around 4:30pm, two men entered the establishment while Julien was speaking with someone and opened fire on him. As Julien fell to the ground, the men stood over him and fired again before fleeing in a waiting vehicle.
• The paramedics and the police were summoned to the scene but the victim was already dead.
• At the time of the incident, Julien was speaking with someone at the time when both suspects entered the bar which is next to the University of the West Indies, South Gate.
• 21 spent shells were recovered from the scene.
• Flashback: on March 10th, 2021, Julien survived an attempt on his life after he and another man identified as Akil Glenmon, were both shot and wounded in Kelly Village, Caroni while liming with friends.
