As several parts of the country remain without a constant supply of electricity, T&TEC and private contractors work to repair the major transmission tower which partially collapsed following a landslide just off the new segment of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway (southbound lane) to Point Fortin in Rousillac on Wednesday 17th August, 2022.
The question that remains unanswered is why such a landslide could have occurred along the segment of the multibillion-dollar highway which is still being constructed by a private contractor?
