A Santa Cruz man was reportedly shot and wounded in Aranguez during the early hours, on Sunday 26th March, 2023.
• Around 4:30am, the 26-year-old man from Mayfair Gardens was driving along Sundarsingh Drive, Aranguez, when he stopped to urinate.
• The victim was reportedly re-entering his vehicle when he felt someone grab his right arm in an attempt to pull him out.
• He fought the suspect and as he attempted to drive off, he heard a loud explosion and noticed that his forearm was bleeding.
• The victim allegedly proceeded to Aranguez Main Road, where he parked his vehicle in the vicinity of Susie’s Bar and fell asleep.
• At about 7:30am, the victim awoke and realised that he had been grazed in the head and drove himself to the Mt Hope hospital where he was treated and discharged in stable condition.
