Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, on Friday, was asked by Naparima pm Rodney Charles why this country seems unable to come off the tier 2 watch list rating in the United States trafficking in persons report.
• The PM. who has contracted the covid-19 virus, was responding to the prime minister’s questions via video link at the Parliament.
• He said a lack of convictions is a major hurdle which the Government has no control of but resources have been provided to the other arms of the state that has jurisdiction regarding investigations, prosecution and conviction.
