Relatives of a man, identified as Darius Jerrybandan, who has been missing since Sunday, 14th August 2022, believe he is the person found murdered at Caparo Brasso Valley Road on Sunday 14th August 2022.
• On Sunday 14th August, 2022, the body of a man was found wrapped in black plastic in an area of the Caparo Brasso Valley Road within the Gran Couva District.
• One female relative told us that based on the description of the body that was found, they believe it may be Darius.
• Relatives went to the Forensic Sciences Centre in St. James on Tuesday 6th September in an attempt to determine if the body was Darius but were unable to do so.
• Arrangements are being made for relatives’ return to the Forensic Sciences Centre, where that particular body will be located from among the volume of unclaimed bodies, to determine if that is Darius.
• His Toyota Hilux, registration TCL 9578, has not been located to date, a relative told us.
