• PSC advertised for Municipal Police Constables in August 2020
• 6012 applications received
•3832 applicants shortlisted by the MRDLG and eligible for the next phase of the recruitment process: screening
• March 26 – April 08, 2022: A total of 2696 applicants were successfully screened by the Municipal Police Academy (MPA) and eligible to advance to the next phase of the recruitment process: entrance examination
• Entrance exam carded for April 30, 2022
• June 2022: HR advises that 3470 persons are eligible to write the entrance exam as per the DPA (where did the additional 774 candidates originate from and who screened them?)
• Entrance exam postponed to July 30, 2022
• July 2022: PSC publishes list of 3402 candidates eligible to write the entrance examination on their website
• July 13 – July 15, 2022: Applicants visit the Municipal Police Academy complaining that they were successfully screened but their names do not appear on PSC’s examination listing.
