Protective services have out rightly rejected the Chief Personnel Officer’s offer of a 4% increase

Protective services have out rightly rejected the Chief Personnel Officer’s offer of a 4% increase for the period 2014-2019 after a 3-hour meeting held on Tuesday 2nd August 2022.

• According to the president of the prison’s association, Ceron Richards, his members will not accept the 4% offered by the CPO, Dr. Daryl Dindial, which was a slap in the face to members of the protective services.

• Meanwhile, the president of the fire service association, Leo Ramkissoon, said that the meeting was less than satisfactory for the outcome of the discussions as far as the fire service association is concerned.

• Ramkissoon said the CPO, however, promised that he would convey their concerns to the Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert and get back to them with a response.
