President of the Amalgamated Workers Union, Michael Prentice, said his union was kicked out of the Joint Trade Union Movement and called traitors after they accepted the 4% wage increase offer from the Chief Personnel Officer Daryl Dindial on Monday 29th August 2022.
Prentice, speaking on i95.5fm on Tuesday 30th august, 2022, said he and his union’s executive were disrespected and called all manner of names by executive members of other trade unions, hours after they accepted the 4% offer.
