Police shot and killed a Pitbull and arrested two brothers during a search of a house in Arouca on Saturday 10th December, 2022.
• The suspects were identified as brothers 24-year-old Jonathan Penco and 26-year-old Nathan Penco.
• Around 3:30pm, officers of the northern division task force went to a house at Thomas Trace, Arouca to execute a search warrant.
• While pc Raghoobar was performing house-clearing tactics, a large brown pit bull began advancing towards him.
• Pc Raghoobar discharged one round of 5.56 ammunition killing the dog at the scene.
• Officers subsequently conducted a search of the property and allegedly found and seized a quantity of marijuana.
• The brothers were also arrested during the exercise
