Over 30 bullets were fired at a Diego martin man outside Starbucks sun plaza, Munroe Road, on Saturday 12th November:
• 25-year-old Kurtis Smith of La Puerta Road, Diego Martin died at the scene after he was ambushed by unknown assailants outside Starbucks at Sun Plaza.
• Smith went to Sun Plaza to meet someone whom he had made arrangements with to purchase his vehicle, a grey Mitsubishi Lancer registration #PCM 9551, when he was shot moments after he emerged from the vehicle and was walking in front of Starbucks.
• Crime Scene Investigators recovered over 30 spent casings at the scene.
We understand that Smith’s name was called in the murder of one man and the wounding of another man at the basketball court at Cicada Drive, River Estate in Diego Martin on Friday night.
• In that incident 44-year-old Lesley Downes aka “Paco”, a father of two of river estate, Diego Martin, while the injured man was identified as 32-year-old Che Gill.
