OVER 17,000 STUDENTS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED AT SECONDARY SCHOOL THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY BETWEEN 2015 AND 2021 WITH 7,630 STUDENTS BEING SUSPENDED IN 2019 ALONE.
THE REVELATION WAS MADE BY EDUCATION MINISTER NYAN GADSBY-DOLLY DURING A POST CABINET PRESS BRIEFING ON WEDNESDAY 9TH JUNE, 2022• ACCORDING TO THE EDUCATION MINISTER, THE MINISTRY WILL NOT HESITATE TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST STUDENTS WHO DECIDE TO BREACH THE NATIONAL SCHOOLS CODE OF CONDUCT.
