One of Lucas’s brothers, who was the one who first spotted the suspects entering the yard via CCTV video, told us he woke everyone up and they all tried to hide as the suspects forced their way into the house.
• The victim told us that he was shot while asleep at the same residence in August last year but has forgiven his attacker and moved on with his life.
• There were several children and adults inside the house at the time of the incident and the suspects just kept firing shots inside from the outside before they were able to gain access by kicking down a door in the kitchen.
