One man was killed and another wounded during a shooting incident when they went to purchase a gold chain at Kingdom Avenue Maturita Arima on Monday 10th October 2022.
• Around 8:30pm, a man identified as Christopher Sitney of Belmont and 21-year-old Abdool Dookie of #25 orange field road Santa Cruz, went to purchase a gold chain when a gunman pulled out his fireman and shot them.
• Christopher died at the scene while Dookie, who was shot in his chest, was taken to the hospital for medical treatment and remains warded in stable condition.
• Sgt. Sunil Ramoutar led a team of officers from the Region II Homicide bureau of Investigations while Sgt. Sean Ammon of the Arima CID led another team of officers at the scene.
