One man is dead and three (3) others, including a 5-year-old boy, were injured during a shooting incident in San Juan on Monday 24th October, 2022.
• 41-year-old Kofi Boucher of Prizgar Road, San Juan has been identified as the deceased while 33-year-old Kyle Jacelon; 37-year-old Candice Serrette; and 5-year-old Kye Jacelon, were also injured during the shooting.
• Around 8:10 pm Kofi was driving a blue and silver Nissan Wing Road registration PBZ 5119, along Ryan Street, San Juan, when several loud explosions were heard causing the vehicle to crash in the vicinity of Ryan Street Extension, San Juan.
• No. 18586 WPC George and a party of officers of the NED Task Force responded together with No. 17712 PC Caraballo and a party of the San Juan CID, and the body of the deceased was observed motionless in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds about the body.
• Additionally, Kyle, Kye and Candice, were in a vehicle proceeding west along Ryan Street, San Juan near the Kingdom Hall Church, when loud explosions were heard.
• Kyle was shot in the back of his right shoulder and drove straight to the San Juan Police Station where it was discovered that Kye and Candice were injured by the glass on the vehicle caused by bullets
• San Juan Police escorted the injured persons to the Mt. Hope Hospital where they were treated.
