Mother collapses after hearing that her son was among four (4) Santa Cruz men gunned down inside a car at Anvaya Lane (Damien Bay), North Coast, Road, Maracas on Saturday 2nd July, 2022.
According to Sharon Pope, she received a call from her daughter who stated that her son, Keron Pope had be shot and killed at Damien Bay shortly after midday today.
She collapsed while inside a store and had to be assisted by other persons before coming to the scene where the incident happened.
The victims were shot inside a grey Nissan Tiida motorcar and all died at the scene.
The deceased:
1. Keron Pope of Blackford Street, Santa Cruz;
2. Elijah Farrel of Maraj Lane, Santa Cruz;
3. A man only identified ad CJ Dan of Santa Cruz; and
4. Micy Boy also of Santa Cruz.
Around 12:15pm the deceased was in company with two (2) females in a Nissan Tiida motor car registration PCT 5134 when another car pulled up behind their vehicle.
One man exited and fired a volley of shots at the victims killing the four friends. The two women were not harmed in the incident.
