Minister of Finance Colm Imbert, the Prime Minister said, will on September 2nd, announce to the population what assistance the Government intends to give, particularly those vulnerable, in the midst of rising food prices.
• Cabinet instructed Minister Imbert to give a detailed account of the country’s financial position on September 2nd, Dr. Rowley said.
• Despite inflation in the country being at 5%, the PM said the Government was able to keep it under control and T&T had one of the lowest inflation rates within the region.
