MECHANIC’S KILLING CAUGHT ON CCTVAs investigations continue into the shooting death of 54-year-old mechanic, Vishnu Rahim at his St. Julien Road, Princes Town home last Thursday, new information on a possible motive for his murder has emerged.

• Rahim’s death is reportedly linked to an incident in which he paid thousands of dollars to a police officer to assist him is securing a Firearms User’s License.

• It is stated that after a significant amount of time passed and the officer failed to deliver on his promise, Rahim also known as “Spring” asked that the monies he paid to the officer and another village who goes by the initials MR, be returned but this too did not happen.

• He wanted to use the money, which is close to $50,000, to take his family on a vacation.

• Rahim reportedly threatened to report the officer and the villager to the police complaints Authority if he did not get his money back and a few months ago, two of his cars were firebombed.

• It is stated that two men from Bay Road, Old Train Line in Marabella were hired to execute Rahim last Thursday. A certain businessman and several other police officers have been implicated in Rahim’s murder in an attempt to silence him.

• Rahim was declared dead at the Princes Town District Health Facility after he was shot while in a hammock outside his home.
